Hot Ginger and Turmeric Drink: A Healthy and Comforting Recipe

Pour the milk into a small saucepan and heat it gently without bringing it to a boil.

 

Step 2: Add the spices

 

Incorporate the turmeric , ginger, cinnamon and black pepper. Mix with a whisk to dissolve the powders completely.

 

Step 3: Let it steep

 

Simmer over very low heat for 5 to 10 minutes. This step allows the spices to release their aromas and beneficial properties.

 

Step 4: Strain and sweeten

 

Strain the drink through a fine sieve to remove the pieces of ginger. Add the honey or maple syrup and stir.
