👩🍳 Instructions
1. Make the Filling
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside. You’ll use softened butter and melted cookie butter later when assembling.
2. Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt.
In another microwave-safe bowl, warm milk, butter, and sugar together for 45–60 seconds. Stir until smooth.
Pour the warm mixture into the flour mixture. Add eggs one at a time and mix until a sticky dough forms.
Knead for 2–3 minutes until the dough becomes elastic. Add extra flour 1 tablespoon at a time if too sticky.
Cover and let rest for 10–20 minutes while preparing the filling and pan.
3. Roll and Fill
Roll out dough into a 14×18 inch rectangle (about ½ cm thick).
Spread the softened butter across the surface, leaving ½ inch at one long edge bare.
Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar filling over the butter, patting it down gently. Drizzle with melted cookie butter.
Roll the dough tightly toward the bare edge and seal it with a bit of water.
Slice into 12 equal rolls using unflavored dental floss or a sharp knife. Place into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
4. Proof and Bake
