Bay Leaf Skin Recipe

8 to 10 dried bay leaves

2 cups water

1 teaspoon rose water (optional)

1 teaspoon aloe vera gel (optional)

1 clean glass jar or bottle

cotton pads (optional)

If you want to use this mainly for hands, you can double the recipe

Because apparently hands deserve attention too, and they have been working hard.

How to Prepare It

Add the bay leaves and water to a small pot.

Bring everything to a gentle boil.

Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and let it simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes.

You’ll notice the water changing color slightly and the smell becoming warm and herbal.

That’s exactly what you want.

Remove the pot from the heat.

Cover it and let it cool completely.

This part matters.

Do not rush and put hot liquid on your skin unless your beauty plan includes regret.

Once the liquid is cool, strain out the bay leaves.
