Ingredients:
3–4 ripe bananas (the riper, the better)
1–2 tablespoons of honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
A pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder (optional)
Sugar or shredded coconut for coating
Instructions:Prepare the Bananas
Peel the ripe bananas and mash them into a smooth paste. For a richer flavor, add a little honey or cinnamon.
Cook the Mixture
Place the banana mash in a non-stick pan over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and becomes sticky (about 20–30 minutes). This step removes excess water.
Shape the Candy
Once thick, pour the mixture into a tray lined with parchment paper. Spread evenly and let it cool.
Cut and Coat
After cooling, cut the banana block into small squares. Roll each piece in sugar, shredded coconut, or cocoa powder to prevent sticking and enhance flavor.
Dry (Optional)For longer shelf life, you can dehydrate the pieces in an oven at low temperature (about 60°C/140°F) for 2–3 hours until chewy.
