Add the ground beef and cook until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in garlic salt, salt, and tomato sauce. Mix until well combined, then simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove the skillet from heat and cover.<\/p>\n<p>In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking.<\/p>\n<p>Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9\u00d713-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.<\/p>\n<p>In a mixing bowl, combine diced onion, sour cream, and cream cheese until smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Layer half of the noodles in the bottom of the casserole dish. Top with half of the sour cream mixture, then half of the beef mixture.
